Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Does the cost include everything? Yes. The price includes setup of the buffet, the service time, all tea ware, all the food and tea, our staff and the clean up.
  2. What is the minimum number of guests at a tea party? Our minimum guest number is 25.
  3. Does your staff stay for the duration of the event? Yes we stay for the entire party, unless the host does not require us.
  4. Do you provide individual table service? No, we provide a buffet style tea party.
  5. How long is the service time? We arrive 1 hour before to setup, we provide a 2 hour tea service and need roughly an hour to clean up, for a total of 4 hours.
  6. What if the date of the event needs to be changed? We do not return deposits, however we can transfer the deposit to a later date.
  7. Can we host a tea party outside? Yes, however we do prefer the food to be kept inside as not to spoil or attract insects.
  8. Can the host add their own food/desserts to the event? Yes, however we prefer them to be on a separate table and on lovely platters (no plastic or store bought boxes)
  9. Do you provide a children’s menu? No, we do not provide a separate menu however we can bring children’s size tea cups and plates. (Alice in Wonderland themed)
  10. What about guests with dietary restrictions? We do not provide vegan or gluten free desserts. Vegetarian and gluten free sandwiches can be made for individual guests, not as a whole platter. We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions/allergies as requested.
  11. What is the process for booking an event? We require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking your event, the remainder of the payment is due on the event date. We accept payment by cheque, cash or e-transfer. Call or email us to book now!
